TERMS OF USE

These terms of use apply to the supply of any children’s activities whether booked by you on our website or directly with a member of staff, including our holiday clubs and our after school clubs.

By booking an Activity with AK Sports you are acknowledging your full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and confirming that you have not relied on any term other than those contained within these Terms and Conditions.

BOOKINGS & CANCELLATIONS

Before booking please ensure your child is available to attend the chosen booking and meets the needs of participation for the chosen activity.

In the event of needing to cancel your booking, you will be entitled to a full refund if it is no longer than 21 calendar days from your chosen booking. This period is needed to allow for staffing, venue and further arrangements to be made. If you wish to cancel your booking within the 21 day period, you will not receive a refund. However, we can work with you to potentially reschedule your booking (Where spaces are available).

In the event that we have to cancel one of our sessions for any reason, we will offer possible dates for those to happy to reschedule or we can issue refunds for those who cannot attend the rescheduled dates.

MEDICAL INFORMATION

Any relevant medical information must be fully disclosed in writing at the time of booking and to the coach in charge of your chosen activity prior to the activity starting. If a medical condition is not disclosed in this way, then AK Sports will not be responsible where the steps taken by it (or not taken) would have been different if the medical condition had been disclosed.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Keeping your children safe is our number one priority. A full risk assessment will be carried out for all the sessions we offer. Furthermore, all staff working for AK Sports will be first aid trained and have a full DBS check certification.

By agreeing to these terms of use, you provide consent for us to administer all necessary first aid to your child as required at any time. You must ensure that your child complies with all our safety requirements:

Shin pads are advised for those wanting to play contact sports e.g. football and hockey.
Earrings should not be worn during any activities unless appropriately taped.
Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times e.g. appropriate footwear

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to your child’s personal belongings whilst attending one of our sessions. You are responsible for ensuring that no valuables (including devices) are brought to the club by your child, other than small amounts of change to spend in our tuck shop.

ARRIVAL & COLLECTION

You must ensure your child is collected by a parent or guardian unless written/signed consent is given to the personnel in charge of the session prior to the session beginning. Furthermore, written consent must be required if your child is allowed to walk home from the session.

PHOTOGRAPHY

As part of showcasing our brand new holiday club, Mr Keech and the team will be looking to take photographs of the children taking part in their action-packed days to share across the AK Sports social media. Photo consent is to be determined when making your booking (If consent is not given your children will not be included in any images taken).

COMPLAINTS

In the unfortunate event you or your child are dissatisfied with the service we provided then we ask you to get in touch with us as soon as you can so we can rectify your issue. However, refunds will only be issued if we are in breach of our Terms of Use.
